Amazon Inspector assesses applications for vulnerabilities and creates a detailed list of security findings. Using the AWS Management Console is an easy way to activate and schedule the inspection review interval for each component like the 3 Lamda applications above via AWS Inspector.

The example on the right shows how to structure a Server Fleet Management at scale architecture. It ensures automated maintenance and deployment tasks or automatically apply of patches, updates and configurations across any resource group in the cloud. Additional AWS CloudFormation supports the automated deployment in minutes. AWS Inspector helps to monitor the aspects of security findings and triggers an SNS email including identified security issues during the inspector’s assessment to the defined recieptions group, responsible for the cloud solution on the customers side.
